Our Story

Food from the farm to your table

Peaches Kitchen is a food-delivery service founded by Chef and Farmer Paige Postma.

The concept was born with the mission of bringing food from high quality producers to everyday dinner tables. We cook nutritious meals in an accessible way that people of all ages can enjoy.

By organizing into groups with a minimum order, we are able to keep prices affordable while never compromising on quality. This way, we allow both the farmer and the eater to participate in a wider system of change through food for every day eating.

How It Works

From group to weekly pickup

  1. Find a group

Gather people who are willing to collectively commit to a weekly order subscription with you at your pick up location on Tuesdays at a time of your choice.

  2. Choose your Admin

The group admin is the person who has the capacity to pause and edit the subscription, remove or add members.

  3. Register the group

Commit to a weekly amount that amounts to the minimum order of 600€ total. This typically breaks down to 6 people ordering 100€ per week. Each meal is 4 adult portions and one meal is 25€, so for 100€ you receive 4 meals per week. Each individual will be sent a client agreement contract; once all contracts are signed you can begin to order!

  4. Order

Each week from Wednesday to Friday evening, you will be able to choose your menu items via the app online.

  5. Receive at Pick Up location

On Tuesday you will receive your order in a cooler bag with your selection of goods. The time of delivery is chosen by the group. You can take this cooler bag with you and return it the following week.

  6. Payment

You will be sent an invoice via email every second Wednesday. You pay via IBAN bank transfer within 7 days. The invoice will include the base amount you committed to, plus any extra food you may have ordered through the app.

Frequently asked questions

Food ordering

At the moment we have chosen to use aluminium and paper packaging. These are the most recyclable options available to the market at the moment and allow us to operate with limited storage space. As the company grows we may implement a zero waste option. Our production kitchen aims to keep waste remarkably lower than most kitchens and we feel the tradeoff for buying our products in bulk without packaging from the farmers makes the disposable packaging an acceptable compromise.

About the Menu

We work with a number of local suppliers such as Erdhof farm, Good Food Syndicate and Brandenburger Bio Linsen. For our pantry staples such as organic flour and oil, we work with food supply companies that specialize in small business and organic products such as The Pool. Our product is not certified organic because not all small farmers can afford to participate in the certification. Our priority is quality local ingredients, not certificates. Feel free to reach out or to follow us on social media for more supplier stories.
